Nikki Craven first started pole dancing in 2005. She wanted something fun to do as she tried to rebuild her strength and self-confidence back from having a spinal fusion (T4 - L2) due to scoliosis. When she first started, it was a rough go. Even though she had very little strength, and even less flexibility, she was immediately addicted to the sport and art form. As the years progressed, she decided that she wanted to dedicate more time to pole dancing and had an overwhelming urge to share it with others because of how it had changed her life, including her health and self-image. Nikki became a certified Vertical Dance Instructor and started giving lessons to other women in 2008.
Nikki continues to build upon her art and has recently started performing. She enjoys the many faces that pole dancing can take, but she truly enjoys keeping a classy sensuality in her routines. Whether she is bare foot, prancing in 7-inch heels, or flipping upside-down in knee-high boots, she believes that a routine should not just express strength, but also fluidity and emotion. Her performances can be personalized for your occasion, and yes, they can even be family friendly.
